Corten:

Cut from 1.6mm corten weathering steel. Rough edges are chipped away before being processed through a deburring machine giving the product its nice even finish ready for weathering.

For best results lie flat, wash well with soapy water and rinse off well before hanging.

If attaching to a wall use packers behind fixing points to set out from the wall to eliminate staining, it looks better this way.

For quick results hose often

Corten can be sealed if desired but not necessary. Corten can be scrubbed with a scotch bright or very fine sandpaper following the grain to remove excess dust and even out the colour at any point..

Aluminium:

Cut from 2mm 5052 aluminium. Items are then processed through the deburring machine, enhancing the appearance with a brushed metal finish. To help preserve and protect this item it has been sprayed with a coat of Pro Lan (lanolin based).

Aluminium is suitable to hang indoors or outdoors. This item is suitable for painting if lightly sanded first removing the prolan coating.
